The guiding premise of 4RP is that all messages (units of information) are not created equal. As well the message handling itself is a message and perhaps the most important one of all.
Safety: To be most effective the right messages need to be delivered at the right time, to the right people, at the right time for the right results. The broader message is “Safety” formed by the accumulation of all the messages that are in the pipeline.
Audits: Units of information describing audit considerations can be called messages. These are easily prioritized to ensure the most important items are audited the most often. At the same time because all audit issues are in the pipeline all items are subject to audit at any time. Items will not be checked only when there is a problem. The broader message is “Audit” formed by the accumulation of all the messages.
Training: Units of information describing training considerations can be called messages. These are easily prioritized to ensure the most important items are delivered the most often. Using 4RP and its delivery methods ensures that training is delivered on the fly when more formal training is not practical
Quality: Units of information describing quality considerations can be called messages. These are easily prioritized to ensure the most important items are checked the most often. Using 4RP and its delivery methods ensures that quality is audited on the fly.
